But how to implement the data into practice – that’s where in-depth understanding steps in. One can find out their whole genome for about 1,000 € - but what do you do with all that information? The data itself does not benefit an ordinary consumer and it does not affect one’s daily behavior. I would go as far as claiming, that knowing one’s full genome is not even nice-to-know information without having the understanding of how to utilize it.

Personally, I had no expectations as it was my very first time attending the festival. The pre-event hype had good vibes and only based on that I was excited to attend. All I knew, was basically that a bunch of innovative health tech startups and companies would gather and see what would come up – hence the excitement.

As the opportunity arose, Hanna was totally onboard. As an active person, Hanna made sure she kept up with the exercise routine amongst relaxing. Holiday in tropical paradise lived up to the expectations and Hanna was able to unwind and gather her strength.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]As an experienced traveler, Hanna knew how to prepare herself for the long return flight. Over eleven hours in an airplane takes its toll on everyone, no matter how prepared one is. Hanna was prepared, she requested an aisle seat, had an occasional walk and hydrated herself regularly. After all, a little tight feeling on her calf was so minor that she figured it would go away as unexpectedly as it came.

But wait, here comes the fun part: it is our genetics that differentiate one from another. A banana from Bob.
